Cleveland Steelers are delighted to announce a new partnership with Marston’s Brewery and local venue The Sandstone Nab, creating a new social hub for players, families, friends and supporters following the club’s home fixtures.
The partnership will see The Sandstone Nab become an important part of the Steelers’ off-court experience, providing players and supporters with a welcoming local venue to enjoy food, refreshments and time together following home games.
As part of the partnership, special discounts will be available to Cleveland Steelers friends, family and supporters, giving members of the wider Steelers community another reason to come together and support a fantastic local venue.
The partnership will also provide opportunities for the club to host a range of social events throughout the season, including quiz nights, race nights and other Steelers community events.
Cleveland Steelers Head Coach Thomas Robinson is excited about what the partnership can bring to the club and its growing supporter base.
“I’m thrilled to be partnering with The Nab. They’re passionate about supporting the Steelers and want to engage with our members. We can’t wait to introduce plenty of social opportunities for our parents and supporters, including race and quiz nights.
“The venue will be a great opportunity for everyone to unwind and hang out with supporters after fixtures at home.”
The partnership forms part of the Steelers’ wider ambition to build a strong connection between the basketball club and the communities, businesses and organisations that surround it.
With Cleveland Steelers continuing to grow both on and off the court, partnerships such as this provide opportunities to bring supporters together while also strengthening relationships with local businesses.
The Sandstone Nab will offer the perfect setting for the Steelers family to continue the matchday experience beyond the final whistle — whether that means enjoying a meal with the family, catching up with fellow supporters or celebrating a big Steelers win with the players.
The club looks forward to working closely with The Sandstone Nab and Marston’s throughout the season and developing a programme of social opportunities for the entire Steelers community.
The final whistle might signal the end of the game but the Steelers night is only just beginning.
