When asked about returning for the 2026/27 season, Burns said:

It was a no brainer to re-sign down to the coaching, the atmosphere and the style of basketball played here there is just no team around doing it like here.

Last season was a good debut for the club at national level figuring out our identity this year i think we have it to go all the way and I can’t wait to play my role in making that happen
